Interesting dynamic to the CBA. Sure you can file for arbitration, but it actually helps the team re salary cap. Would seem to make the team less eager to avoid arbitration....

If they were pondering buyouts, it certainly would be to their advantage
to have at least one player file

I don't see what the pondering is about though ... they should know what they have to do for the future ... Murray? BUY! Manny? BUY!

Wonder what Wideman is in line for, contract wise?

Three million per, anyway. He probaby wants more.

Murray they will buy out if they get Hossa - PC does have a point that they need someone with a scoring touch...

The B's inexplicably still think a broke down, old, sans-Jacquestrap Manny can give them value for his almost 5 million dollar salary. We'll see...
