Lowe is an idiot. He takes on an albatross of a contract, and gives up a solid young player for the privilege. Heeeeeeeeeeere's your sign...

For Greene and Stoll, why?
Souray hasn't exactly panned out either.
Sounds like something the Leafs would do if they had any good young players........... Mad

Razz how much does it piss off the rest of the people in your fantasy leagues when you try to trade them 4 guys that you picked up off of waivers for Ovechkin?

Lubo is by far the best player in this deal. Deano should have been able to get a much better return from someone else, or even from Lowe himself.

Nonetheless, this isn't the kind of defenseman that Lowe needed.

Hey wait a sec... a year after they signed Souray they're still looking for PP help?

Somehow, I think Montreal's PP will still rule without Streit next year...

i offer value for value. lubo is solid, but thats a huge contract, and i dont see that he's worth it. just my opinion...
