Ugh, I'm not big on this signing. I don't see how having a fighter like Big Georges in the lineup will add any protection for our star players. It's all psychological mumbo jumbo with no real benefits.

The guy can actually play a regular shift, though. If we sign a guy like David Koci, there's no benefit. Laraque can add a lot to our energy lines and forecheck. And Lapierre gets even free reign to stir shit up.

Damned... On the one hand, I'm glad he didn't sign on with EDM but disappointed he get picked up by Vancouver. I was kind of hoping he and Hordichuk could at least beat the crap out of everyone in the NW.

Put Begin on the IR...
As of right now, Dandy is our #7 d-man, not a spare forward. Chips isn't neccesarily guaranteed a spot, either. Hope he does make it, though he still has one year of waiver free status.
