I need to ask some questions about Center Ice. It will be very relevent to me very soon.

1) Is Center Ice only available through Disc?

2) Is Center Ice available on Cable TV?

See, I hope to be moved to North Carolina by the end of August and I'm going to DIE if I can't see my Red Wings.

Help, Please.

Yep...I get it every year with Comcast..........

I find it very irritating that they do not offer NHL.net on Comcast. And to top it off they black out the games on the package that are on NHL.net...

YOU BETTER FIX THIS SHIT NHL!

No HD to my knowledge with the Comcast Package.

I have had CI via Dish Network. Unless the games are available on HD, I will probably cancel it next season. Too many times, I've missed key games because VS was carrying the game and it wasn't on Dish.

That and my team sucks.

I honestly don't have a choice. If I want to watch the B's and Flames I have to pony up and eagerly swallow whatever garbage that the NHL spews out. F You NHL.net!

I have had it roughly five years. I receive it through Charter Cable. It runs about $150 USD for the year and takes you from game 1 of the regular season through the end of the 2nd round of the playoffs. It will seem weird but sometimes you'll have to watch the Red Wings through the eyes of their opponent's TV feed. I also believe that you can receive it through broadband streaming to your "puter. I think Jeff goes this route.

I will not be renewing CI this year. As previously mentioned I am far to pissed that (1) they black out games on VS and NESN (2) my team sucks and will suck for a while (3) they seem to raise the damn fee every year.
I had CI almost since its inception back when I had Direct TV and then had a 1 yr hiatus the season before last due to being gone for so long in the year.
(1) and (3) being the primary drivers, it pisses me off that I pay extra to watch NHL games and they reward me by blacking out most of the top weekly matchups.
Lord knows I have been used to (2) for a while with the mediocre years inbetween!

I cancelled CI yesterday. It felt good.

And I'd like to add to Blueneck's 3 reasons, #4) there aren't nearly enough games that I'd like to see that are in HD. Hockey in SD on a big-ass screen really bites. And the time difference with the Wet Coast... It was just too hard to stay up that late that often.
