It's lines like this that make Moore and the CBC so oblivious to what public opinion thinks of them.
Someone hire these sheltered individuals some real PR writers. _________________ John McCain is fit as a fiddle… Is 71 the new 30?” - Fox News' Rich Lowry

first Roots loses the Canadian Team Olympic clothing contract and now this.
Oh - and by the way - the Canadian Olympic Team will all look like white trash shit in their Hudson Bay/Zeller's crappy ugly effin clothes - AND NOW HNIC LOSES IT'S THEME SONG??
What the hell?
Canada is going right to crap, and I think I want to move now.

This is stupid. CTV takes it and will use it for hockey broadcasts on TSN and RDS as well as the Olympics......
This song is iconic........what a dumb move by CBC and a sad day for Canadian Culture. _________________ -UP THE IRONS! |

I better make sure I find a TSN broadcast on opening day. _________________ -UP THE IRONS! |

TSN...hires away(or however the fuck that happened) Chris Cuthbert...gets the song...then lets CBC pay Mike Milbury the same salary to work one day a week as he did having to work 3 or 4 at tsn...
Though tsn's main guys are still Maguire and Miller, so that kind of balances out their good moves. _________________ Bring back the old OTP!

With Milbury, Cherry, and Stock all on HNiC, there is no way that razz can legitimately claim an anti-Bruins bias in their broadcasts... of course, as we know, that won't stop him from illegitimately caliming anti-Bruins bias... _________________ "Oh my God. Oh no, there's still a bias. The CBC is more interested in showing, you know, Canadian teams that Canadian fans want to see, rather than the Bruins... _________________ Bring back the old OTP!

I know, Leaf jokes are getting old but, really, who (outside of Toronto) wants to see the Leafs do anything but fail? _________________ The Triumphant Return of Treebait!! |
