Dearest All,
When I told you all, during my travels, that I'd fallen in love with North Carolina - I meant it. I have persued a move and have just been assigned a store in Smithfield, N.C. I am in the process of Rite Aid effecting the transfer to this store, as well as (hopefully) getting relocation assistance. If that does not happen, my Sister said she would help me move. I'm waiting for Rite Aid to let me know what is happening. At the same time, I am packing, making lists as to all my accounts (Verizon will move with me - hopefully comcast will to)
I don't even know where I will be living yet.
More later. But bottom line, by the next hockey season, I'll be about 20 miles from Raleigh, NC.

The question is: will you still get to see the Wings in NC?
Anyways, it does sound like a nice area. Liking college basketball and golf will make the move even easier. Kudos!!!!!!!!!!

Does this mean you will become a Hurricanes fan?

have a fondness for the area you are moving to.....
Ironically, I am traveling to Michigan from Sept 8 to the 12
I figured I'd expect to meet the most die hard Wings fan, but you won't be there.........any other OTP'ers in Michigan the first week of NFL season?

RW, of course! I've met him all 3 times I've gone to Detroit for Wings games

Hipcheck. I will be very happy to have a Detroit OTP get together. PM me and I will set up days anf times as we get closer to the dates. Detroit is a pretty spread out area so I'll try to tailor our get together closer to where you are staying. Party all night in Detroit.
