Now the GM of the Slovakian national team.
Great career, Peter! _________________ "Oh my God. There she is. Lovely Sally Slater. I should speak to her. But what the hell can I say? Anything that doesn't mention that I masturbate over her memory is probably a good idea."

Great player. I always liked Bonda, he had a cannon coming down the right side. I always thought he was kind of overlooked playing for the Capitals. _________________ Bring back the old OTP!

Yup, I think you could definitely say the same about guys like Langway and Gartner. Bondra might have also been overlooked because he was drafted so late wasn't he?
He was fun to watch and certainly one of the most underrated players of his generation. It's a shame Leonsis made a huge mistake in acquiring Jagr and thereby overshadowed a team that was rightfully Bondra's. Jagr himself has sounded rather apologetic about the whole thing ever since and always speaks highly of Bondra, in fact he credits Peter w/teaching him the one-timer, something that's a regular part of Jagr's game now.
Anyway, hope he makes it back to the NHL in some regard. |

I'll miss him - I have been a fan ever since the Cup finals with Detroit.
