It's possible, but we're referring to this staple of the Northwest:

For those like me who never got to see the Öhlund-Phaneuf fight, here it is (as well as the Cooke hit from behind which precipitated it):

I like Ohlund. He knows how the game should be played. Like in '04 where he cross checked Iggy from behind, refs didn't call shit, so he knew he would have to answer the bell and dropped em with Iggy. He shouldn't have to fight Cooke's battles though. Let Cooke get his ass kicked. _________________ Bring back the old OTP!

Someone on HFBoards raised a good point: you can't spell "Kesler" without "Selke"! _________________

Nuck-Fact of the Day: Josh Green was, statistically at least, an excellent PK specialist. One has to wonder if his absence might explain the team's current PK struggles. _________________ ... Because the old one, is well, old.

As opposed to Kesler, who this year actually has the third-worst statistical goals given up average in PK situations in the league, among guys with more than 2 minutes on average PK/game. _________________ Bring back the old OTP!

Well Jim, Roberts here was sixth in the A.L. in doubles with runners in scoring position in home games, in the 8th inning, on turf, at night, in the month of May. So that's certainly something to think about...

If you're talking about PK specialists than Bulis is imo the guy they miss most in those situations but right now the PK looks pretty strong anyway. |

no link but Kesler has his song now.
I dont like it , its a parody of Kiss' RocknRoll all night and Party everyday. I dont even recall the lyrics or chorus..it was so bunk.
Heavy Eric , whom Im not a fan of his Canucks songs anyways but this is bar none one of his worst pieces of work. |

| Zetterberg with the hat trick and Datsyuk with two assists. They're both on my team. |

The Youtube profile says she's a 38-year old "sexual and sensual woman." Apparently she left out "desperate and creepy". _________________

Tonight's episode of "How I Met Your Mother"
Robyn, on her date with her co-worker (sportscaster) at a Rangers game: "It was great! Afterwards, we got to go into the dressing room and we met Mason Raymond!"
...blank, confused expressions from her friends
Robyn: "Left Winger for the Vancouver Canucks!"

I just read this on two other forums -- what a random sitcom moment for U.S. television!
Apparently the actress who delivered that line is from Vancouver, so I imagine she had some input. (I've never seen the show, but I believe her character is likewise a Vancouverite, or so I've read).
Apparently the punchline of this little sequence was, "What's the opposite of name-dropping?" Poor Mason, the butt of a TV joke before even his first NHL goal... _________________
