The Onion writers writing for sportsnet now? |
They've been doing bits like this recently. They had a Daily Show style interview session with the Sabres in which the interviewer asked them how tragic it was that they would suck now without Briere & Drury. Apparently not everyone interviewed was in on the joke, but it was obvious that Miller & Roy were (not so much for Vanek, though).
Gaborik got 2 points yesterday vs. the Oil. No team's success should depend so much on one man's groin.

That's terrific... It would certainly differentiate Sportsnet from the rest and definitely make their articles far more entertaining...  I like this evolution.
