Really, I've always called it the dressing room. _________________

The whole room locks thus making it one big locker.
And Bosc I am just a sad and weak little man. _________________ It's not you Sundin, it's me...please just leave...and don't look back....please please do not look back. |

Term probably stems from the upper-tier leagues where players actually have their own lockers. I've never referred to it as such...

You don't know about that??? He used to have cords going from somewhere near his wrist to the side of his C/A. So when he spread his arms, the cords would stretch out his giant jersey. Normally where pucks would go through there, pucks would hit or gt caught in it. _________________ Bring back the old OTP!

Oh I only knew about the weights sewn into the bottom of his arms. If I try that bungee thing I give it ten minutes till I'm flat on my back and hog tied in the middle of the crease. _________________ It's not you Sundin, it's me...please just leave...and don't look back....please please do not look back. |

Nope, you don't have to ask the refs twice for running time |
For all us non-players, what is 'running time'. Ah wait. Is it like soccer where the clock never stops? _________________

Si...
in most leagues they automatically go to running time if
a) the score is lopsided in the 3rd period (10 goals, 7 in some cases)
b) there are a lot of penalties
c) there are fights (like more than one )
If the scorekeeper doesn't show up, they'll often go to 15:00 running
as opposed to the normal 12:00 stop time
I was confused as to what " C/A meant", being a non-goalie I thought Hounsy was buying a new catcher...now I see it's the chest protector
I still don't see where "C/A" comes from though
As to Wah using bungee cords and weights to expand his jersey, that sounds like cheating ... has the statute of limitations passed on that yet? _________________ I'm a Bruins fan - don't try to confuse me with the facts |

Chest/Arms, also referred commonly as the Arm and Chest Protector.
Yeah, it really is cheating, but shit like that wasn't legislated for a while... _________________ Bring back the old OTP!

I asked Bosc the same question at our game last night. I thought it was chest protector CP, but I too couldn't figure it out.
Thank god I'm not the only one to not know. _________________

Well, we had our big re-match against our nemisis and next best team in the league, Toronto last night. They beat us 5-3 the first game of the year( even thought it was supposed to be our 2nd exibition game. Wwell thatt's what happens when the conveynor of our league plays for that team)
We had a much better start and jump to this game than we did last week, as we totally shit the bed last week. The game went back and forth all night with us always leading by 1 and then they would tie it up. Refs handed out a ton of penalties to our team all night and we got back to back 4 minute penaltieswith the score 3-3, and then 4-3 for us respectfully, and both happened in the last 7 minutes of the game.
Not only did we kill them off, but on the last 4 minute penalty we were up 4-3 with 3 minutes left, and we scored 2 shorties to win 6-3. The game wasn't as chippy as it usually is when we play Toronto, and Bosc played in nets again because his brother got a new job and couldn't make it last night.
As Always, when called upon Jeff had a solid game in nets and if I'm not mistaken all 3 of their goals were on the PP.
With about 2 minutes left in the game, I was inbetween the red line and their blue line and Bosc whipped a pass up the boards to me from just outside his goal. I saw him attempt this and I started to skate towards the red line anticipating that he get it to our blue line or the red line, but he wizzed a buetiful pass that made it to the red line and almost their blue line and I missed it as I could have had a half breakaway, because I never expected him to get it that far that quick.
On a personal note midway through the second, on a very inocent play, I turned to go to the right side and tweeked my knee ( or the ligaments just below it) I was able to finish the game, but I am walking with a little bit of a limp today. I hope there's no major damage and that it's just a sprain. _________________

What were you doing floating at their blue line with the puck in your end?
as my ex used to accuse Neely of "looking for a last minute cheapie"
just kidding dude, congrats on the win _________________ I'm a Bruins fan - don't try to confuse me with the facts |

Actually, I never play that way. ( Cherry pick), if I recall they came out of their zone and and shot it in our end quickly, ( I was deep in their zone at the time)and did not ice the puck and changed, Bosc quickly came out and shot it up, as I was between their blue line and red still coming back. _________________

Friday and Saturday it really hurt as I was limping. Then on Sunday it started to get better, and each day it has gotten better. I'd say today I'm 90% and not limping at all. _________________
