Heh, poor Nick... he's seeing how starved for Wild fans we are that he's getting the royal treatment and smothered all at once. _________________

I guess it's nice to be in demand!
This should be a good game. Both teams are rested, too which is nice. |

So I guessed wrong and the Wild started Backstrom... Only saw the last period and the 'Yotes didn't really muster much of a challenge, save for a nice deflection by Vrbata. Some things never change; Jovo batted the bouncing puck away from Bryzgalov only to have it land on a Wild stick... 3-1. _________________ ... Because the old one, is well, old.

Much better "Wild" game than we've seen over the last month.
The Voros/Sheppard/Veilleux line was our best all night long.
Hill and Fedoruk showed a little grit.
If the Wild beat the Blues tomorrow night it will be our first November with a winning record. |
