Suspended for an elbow on Gaborik in the third period Wednesday night.

I don't get that one at all.

I couldn't find the hit on YouTube. What happened?

I watched the game and nothing about the end stuck in my memory. In other words, I don't think it was anything much at all.

Apparently he got his elbow up around Gaby's melon in the waning seconds. No penalty, no retaliation from the Wild at all, no griping from the coaching staff.

That's why it seems so out of left field.

But that's Campbell, I guess!

I think that's the reaction most people have to Coyotes games.

Haven't seen the incident.

However, given the stuff that went on in the Nucks/Wild game ending in Ohlund's 4 game suspension, it's interesting to hear that Jovo went after Gaborik (if he did).

Gaborik is no saint, IMO, based on the elbow he threw at Kesler.

This is true. Lots of Wild fans (myself included) think Gaby needs to throw down one of these times to back up his chippy little crap like the elbow on Kesler.

If nothing else, it would do wonders for the respect he gets in the Wild dressing room - and around the league I would imagine.

I've always been a fan of Gaborik but being in Toronto, I haven't had the chance to watch him play a lot. Does he do a lot of chippy little crap?

Not to make broad generalizations, but Slovaks tend to be a bit chippy.

Saw the elbow. It was innocuous insomuch that Gabbo didn't get hurt, but Jovo clearly raised his elbow at him. It's just that they were fighting along the boards, so there was no momentum behind the elbow.

1 game makes sense.

I haven't seen Jovo's elbow but I saw Gaborik's elbow on Kesler and Koivu's elbow to Ohlund that resulted in Matty clocking MK's calf with his stick. Neither Gaborik nor Koivu received suspensions. Was Jovo's elbow that much worse than those two?
