| Sadly with the way this host is run there is no access to the files themselves so you could code that sort of fun. I have been talking to my host about it so I might be able to pull it off. |

The past site put a restriction on the size of the avatars. I think that is a good idea - the new site has HUGE avatars that, I think, takes up alot of space. It seems silly that a one line post takes up half a page because of the avatar.

There actually are size restrictions... I believe Stinky [ahem] replaced his old, legal avatar at the source with a larger file of the same name.

Yeah but those restrictions don't work. I myself was guilty of having a mondo avatar this weekend. It let me put it there so the restrictions aren't taking effect.
