Let's get this going!

Koivu missed the morning skate with the "flu", but will play. Huet in goal.

Not a dominating game by any means, but a strong one and an important win. All these 1 goal games the Habs play have aged me terribly I think post-lockout. Good legs by the Habs throughout, which they needed.

Tons of penalties called it seemed, some rather marginal ones slipping in. Higgins finally catches a break and is rewarded with the GWG and gets the EN goal to boot.

CHIPCHURA! With goal #1 of his NHL career. Grabovski with his first point.

Kostitsyn was the healthy scratch. Rolling Eyes

Buffalo has the rotating captaincy, Montreal has the rotating press box resident.

This Buffalo team is still incredibly dangerous, as can be seen with the 2 goals in 9 seconds. Plus, Roy is really ready to be a star in this league and made Komi look like a fool on one rush. The Sabres will get it together, glad we got one win in before they do get it in gear.

Yeah, I can definitely sympathize on that. The reffing early this season has been very high on marginal calls, which is pretty typical I guess of early season.

I know, that 4 minute call on breezer was piss poor - thus the 'make up' penalties to the habs after Appleville's Greg Gooanus routine.

Hey stinky - where do you watch the Habs games in T.O.? Is RDS on some common cable/satellite provider around here?

Sopcast. NHL 3 most times. Install it, sign up, search 'Habs'.

The picture isn't great but it's better than CJAD...
