I will be at the game tonight with the posse
I was fretting the Bruins laying an egg in a home game one night removed from a tilt in the swamp
after last night's debacle, things aren't looking any better
If they start that chicken-flipping shit they pulled last night,
we may be heading for a bar

don't know if Thomas is gonna be out for long, but looks like Rask tonight at any rate

Ward was on BCN Wednesday saying he should be ready by Saturday

The Habs have a bit more muscle, and a bit more piss and vinegar as well for tonight. Last year's pest Maxim Lapierre is back up after starting the year in the minors, this is his first game. Mammoth d-man Ryan O'Byrne is making his NHL debut tonight. He's listed at 6'6", around 240 lbs. Both players had a lot of PIMs in Hamilton this year, at least compared to what the Habs' regular lineup has. Neither are goons, but they'll scrap.

Kostopolous also draws in after a couple games as a healthy scratch. Michael Ryder, he of 85 goals in his first 3 seasons, is a healthy scratch. No Brisebois, either.

Rask vs. Price in goal, so that'll be fun if both teams get the shot totals up like that last game (52-30 I think it was).

But the Habs are reeling badly right now. A quick start by the B's will unravel them.

This will get ugly. Montreal is bringing the goon squad, and we'll be in a surly mood from last night, plus it's the Habs. I predict a full on brawl...

Thugs are more useful than him. Think what Boston might be doing if Murray hadn't gone on his hot streak and was still stuck at 2 goals or so.

That all being said, Smolinski's been worse and he's playing with Koivu and Higgins. Go figure.

Higgins on the doorstep. Nice play by Alberts to get the puck, but clearing attempt isn't high enough, Hammerdick makes a nice play to keep it and the Bruins are caught scrambling while Higgins puts in the rebound.

B's D back in too far and let Montreal have the zone, Chipchura cuts to the middle and the B's D gets crossed up, and Chip buries a wrist shot.

Shit Chara, if you drop to take away the pass, don't throw your stick out in front of the shot. Confused No chance for Rask.

I don't watch the first periods anymore. The last 40 minutes allow me to have a clear idea of what the Habs are about.
