Game's on Versus tonight ladies. Tune in Smile

Bruins-Sabres Preview

Quote:
With top two goalies Tim Thomas (groin pull) and Manny Fernandez (herniated disc) both sidelined with injuries, it will be either rookie Tuukka Rask or recently acquired Alex Auld in net for the Bruins (15-10-3).

Quote:
While the Bruins are dealing with issues at goaltender, the Sabres (13-13-1) are having issues with consistency. In Buffalo's last four games, the Sabres have outscored opponents 15-2 in two wins and (have been)outscored 12-3 in two losses.

Miller didn't look too good tonight.

Auld stopped 44 shots (or something like that)

I fell asleep (twice) watching Buffalo take shooting practice on Auld
reminds me of the 90 SCFs (Boston -Edmonton)
Boston took all the shots, Edmonton scored all the goals
Kessel was the only Bruin moving fast

I almost fell asleep because of the dumbass VS announcers.

Yeah, they kept yapping about everything EXCEPT what was happening on the ice
During one rant, there were 3 whistles I'm sure ... even as Reich headed to the box, and Buffalo started a power-play, they kept right on yapping - eventually the play by play guy realized it was a power-play, and sounded almost like he was startled out of a day dream as he proclaimed "Sabres on a powerplay now..."

Yeah, it started over a minute ago, dude

Sorry to say, the most glib of the two is NESN's own Andy Brickley
