Word is Kesler might sit tonight caz he's sick with the flu which means THe Weave will probably get in tonight.
Expansion killer Sanford vs Nabokov.
*edit had to correct the thread title.. and I was thikning about stealing SHorty's "everybody Loves Raymond" idea/theme. |

O-ho, well done!
The Canucks got into their hotel at 3:00 a.m. this morning, and the team already looked out of gas last night (or so I read).
I know that somewhat mimics the circumstances of their second big win against Minnesota, but still, this is part of a larger ridiculous travel schedule and injuries have mounted considerably. This one is "guaranteed loss night", and I'll hardly be disappointed if it happens. _________________

| nothing surprising here. Nux in tough but the kids out in another good effort. I liked AV trying to energize things by breaking up the swedes and inserting Raymond and Jaffray. The reason the Kids probably stood out so much is a lack of the bug that is apparently making its way through the locker room and also joing the team at the end of this goofy stretch of games. Poor night for Drew to get his debut but really can't blame goal tending in this one, THe only reason Louie would have faired any better is his size would have limited those top shelf shots. |

the ironic thing is I lost my "safe" ticket , I had Det and SJ.. 2 gamer. Friggen Oilers. I tossed in Colorado caz I found out Nash had a flu bug hitting them , including both goalies... wasnt a blowout as I thought but Ill take it.
I stopped watching after 2-0 , I didnt even see the short lived comeback. |

I watched the first and part of the second... Tivo'ed through to the near-comeback (more bad luck on SJ's part - bad bounce on Henrik's goal, and another fluke on Linden's goal) - it wasn't pretty to watch at all. It's interesting that SJ traps as much as they do given the talent they have. Thornton is still a monster. _________________ ... Because the old one, is well, old.
