Raymond impressed me with his speed in his first stint. At the time I was super pissed that Ritchie and Isbister were getting the time over RAymond and Shannon.

After she says "I met Mason Raymond , left wing for the Vancouver Canucks!.." somebody responds after a short pause " whats the complete opposite of name dropping?"

OK, I got a hold of the episode as an .avi file... I have no idea how to extract anything from them, but I crudely did an audio recording of the relevant part.

Enjoy it here!

Well, they did pretty well (3-3-2) over this 8 game "road trip" considering the circumstances:
- No Luongo for the 5 of the last 8 games
- No BXA, and injuries to Luongo, BMo, and Cowan
- Lineup includes a flu bug that hit Kesler "at both ends" - others, too, no doubt
- Rookies Raymond, Jaffray don't look completely out of place...
- My boy Edler continues to shine taking a regular shift as well as PP time Cool
... and still, they are tied for first in the NW (four points separate first and fifth in the NW).

Bad news is the red-hot Devils and Marty Brodeur are in town next. Mad

The coloring on newspaper photographs is so often weird. The Canucks usually seemed to have neon red stripes and Smurf blue on black on their 1997-2007 unis instead of dark blue, normal blue and that deep red.

Here, we see a still of Roberto Luongo's cameo in Tron:

Good write-up of the skills competition.

I heart Pam.. caz of stuff like that. She's a genuine BC Girl and Vancouver sports fan. She owns a home on the Island and the word is that she's always planned to retire back home when her looks start to fade.

Anyhoo... Canucks claim Kris Beech off waivers. A few years too late from when I really would've liked this pick up. BC boy , big centre but unfortunately just a depth guy now...but we can always cross our fingers for the late bloomer.

oh and Henrik was named to the All Star team , not Daniel.. they were split up!!!!!

It would be perverse if she wasn't, considering she owes her lucrative career 100% to the BC Lions. Laughing

There are a number of ways to spin it:

"Canucks continue to stockpile underachieving, formerly highly touted Capitals' prospects" [Baumgartner, Ouellet]

or

"Canuck fans want Kyle Beach, say hello to Kris Beech!"

or

"Legendarily underachieving BC centerman returns home for final rally to save career"

I expected only one of them to go -- but I thought it would be Daniel! He's having a particularly good season, and there's proportionately less competition at wing.

Pam crossed the picket line to appear on Leno? Guess that makes sense as a bi-polar BC political mind (pro-PETA but anti-union). Laughing
