Kris Draper is returning to the Red Wings lineup Wednesday against the L. A. Kings. Dominik Hasek will start in net that night. Chris Osgood will get the start in net the next night in St. Louis against the Blues. Kirk Maltby is still quite a ways away from returning although a New Years return is hoped for.

The game was nationally televised on tsn so I couldn't watch it. Pounded LA 6-2. By the replays, there was a few ugly and ackward goals. 4 assists for Kronwall. _________________ Bring back the old OTP!

It ended up 6-2? Wow. Last I checked at the bar it was 3-2 and the Kings were putting up a fight. _________________ "Oh my God. There she is. Lovely Sally Slater. I should speak to her. The Kings played well in very small spurts. They're really young and they make lot's of young guy mistakes that lead to goals. They've also gone through 5 or 6 goaltenders already this season which really screws with their consistency even more. That, and they appear to lose focus at really inopportune times. The Red Wings just came at them in waves last night, especially after the Kings' 2nd goal to start the 2nd period,. BTW that was a real softy on Hasek's part. It was just a bad night for the Kings to have to play Detroit in Detroit. On another note, The 07 - 08, Red Wings just tied the 95 - 96, Red Wings for the fastest achievment of 25 wins in team history. Both teams made it to that mark in 34 games.
