This is going on right now. I don't know how much I'll watch, but here we go for the time being.

Panthros pressure the Habs, draw a penalty....

Interesting fact, the Panthers are the only team the Habs are below .500 against in their history.

The Habs' PK is way more efficient without Smolinski and Bégin.

Ugh. Terrible pinch by Komi and Markov playing that 2 on 1 poorly leads to a way to easy goal for Stumpel and the Habs are down early... which is never a good sign, especially at home.

Price with a perfect pass to Brett McLean and it's 2-0. Yeesh. This lead couldn't have been any easier for the Panthers.

given the Habs ability to comeback at home... this is done.

Given the Habs inability to beat the Panthers...this is very very done.

Games against the Panthers, more than any, make me think long and hard about contraction. Seriously, if they ceased to exist, would anyone care or even notice?

They just pulled up a stat that shows that Vokoun has as many points this year as Samsonov. Laughing

Why the Calder is a meaningless award?

Ugh.

Game end notes:

1. When the Cats disband and better, profitable teams get to pick up their players, I think I would take Olesz over Bouwmeester. That guy has really developed into a quality 2-way shut down guy
2. Jassen Cullimore is on our tab, and his team beat us. At least he still sucks
3. Tomas Vokoun is really good. Too bad the Cats are lame
4. Watching the Cats play is like watching the NHL five years ago. All five guys just load up in the neutral zone and slow the game down to a crawl. Just end this farce already
