1st game of 4 this season, though by the end of next month, we'll have played all 4.
Haven't seen the line-up yet, but I would assume Huet gets the start. _________________

Being that it's Christmas season, I will probably not watch much of this one. Still got shopping to do.
It's too bad, because I'd like to see this one for no other reason than this is essentially the game I attended 4 years ago... they always play in Washington right around Christmas.
Plus, Ovechkin & Green.
I've predicted a 1-3-2 record for the Habs on this road swing... this might be one of the two OTL/SOL games.
This is the road trip:
Washington
Atlanta
Dallas (automatic Dec. 23 loss)
*Christmas*
Tampa
Florida
Rangers
Atlanta's the game I predicting a W.
I'll predict an outright loss for tonight. 4-2 Caps. _________________ "Oh my God. There she is. Lovely Sally Slater. I should speak to her. But what the hell can I say? Anything that doesn't mention that I masturbate over her memory is probably a good idea."

Yeah, of all those Florida teams and Carolina and others, Atlanta is the only one that we have had some success against.
Wwith that said, we lost at home in a shootout earlier this year to them. _________________

Last year we actually won the season series vs. Tampa, but winning the first game back from Christmas? Blasphemy! _________________ "Oh my God. There she is. Lovely Sally Slater. Well, look at that. We won as Kölzig has an awful night. Guillaume gets two in his return to the lineup, Sergei Kostitsyn pops goal #1 of his career, and Huet makes 35 saves in his first start in 8.
The Christmas swoon is avoided for one more night. _________________ "Oh my God. There she is. Lovely Sally Slater. I should speak to her. But what the hell can I say? Anything that doesn't mention that I masturbate over her memory is probably a good idea."

All together a good night - Habs win, Laffs lose, bears lose. life goes on. _________________ The crowd once again showed its IQ level when it shouted ``U-S-A, U-S-A,'' during the fight. Their hero, Downie, is from Newmarket, Ont. |
