I simply cannot stand to see a forum on this site with zeros. See my topic in Hockey Talk. Is the second season curse in effect?

No Niedermeyer. No Selanne. No Penner. Bring in Bertuzzi. Pahlsson hurt to start the year. Schnieder hurt to start the year. Giguere hurt to start the year.
Start the year in England, then play 3 consecutive home openers in tough rinks in the next week.
Only then, do you start to factor in the short, frantic off-season of being a Cup Champ.
Let's face it, the lineup the Ducks iced to start the season is merely only capable of making the playoffs, not getting home ice. When Nieds gets back, this team will be good again. And he is coming back.
