No and nope. The Av's have six guys out and three noobs in the lineup.
It was an entertaining game. Fast and the second period was physical. The goalies made some great saves. If that's how the Rangers play all the time, I could see becoming a fan. The Av's definately played up to the Rags. _________________

Didn't see this game as I was in hockey-unfriendly Nebraska for the holidays, just read the recap online.
Rangers are in biiiiiiiig trouble if Lundqvist gets injured. Give their overachieving D credit, but it's King Henrik singlehandedly keeping the Rags afloat. Any time he's not a factor, the Rags give up five goals to one guy. Slats will be put to the test this offseason when he has to sign him to a huge deal and then fill in all the many gaps the Rags will have with no cap room.
Avs have been playing great thus far, Budaj once again is starting to play capably, if not great, the team as a whole is playing better defensively, and we're getting HUGE returns from Cody McCormick, he's providing the grit, tenacity, physicality, and very occasional scoring the team so desperately needs...he looks to be the heir apparent to Laperriere, who is also playing great for us. |
