20 511 at the United Center to watch The Hawks lay a beating on Crashville. I think the word is out on Kane and Toews. It doesn't hurt that the Bulls stink right now.

That's awesome.

Last night at the Blues home game against Detroit:
Quote:
Attendance 19,250 at Scottrade Center

They also had 17700 against the Thrashers, so while having the Wings in town certainly helps, it looks like they're turning their attendance around under the new ownership and Davidson.

Columbus has been getting hit at the gate after years of sellouts, which is odd considering how much better they're doing(although with Hitch at the helm might not be very exciting to watch).

Amazing what happens when you make even the slightest effort to appease a once-loyal fanbase.

Hope you're seeing this Dollar Bill...

Columbus is reeling because the novelty of the expansion team wore off, and the last time they saw the team, the fans saw a bad one. In a market competing against championship level college sports teams, the Blue Jackets' relatively modest success so far this year hasn't changed many minds in what really is a non-traditional hockey market.

I'd assume this game had some sort of promo with it, but it's great to see.
