Freaking afternoon game that starts in the AM for me.
2-0 Habs. Two sweet goals, one from the PP, a rocket pass from Kovalev to Plekanec. The play was so quick that Plex had plenty of time to corral the pass, have it bounce a bit on him, and still fire it into an open net.
The second was Andrei Kostitsyn giving me wood, plain and simple. Brilliant deke on my boy Mike Green and a great shot top corner.

Caught the game in the flesh. I seriously thought Ovechkin was dogging it until the third period, but he was far and away the best player on the ice. What a talent.
Speaking of which, the Kostitsyn goal was a mirror image of Perezhogin's goal against the Leafs last year. Highlight reel stuff, baby.
Both goalies were lousy, so it made for an entertaining game.
