What an electric third period. Even though he didn't get any points, Mike Komisarek was clearly the player of the game.

What the hell happened to Sturm and Kessel? Those guys were ghosts.

I know I've been less than supportive of Dandy and Streit as forwards, but they have been doing a great job. I still think we need to have our best players on D and not as checking forwards, but they do a superior job holding the lead.

How good must Tim Thomas' numbers be when he isn't playing us? He must have a .970 SPCT against the rest of the league. Laughing

Plenty of great hits from both sides in this game. Lucic is a gamer. Lapierre is a gamer too.

Savard didn't turn away from anything. His shoulder was hurt early and he played through it.

The Thornton penalty was bullshit, Hamrlik was grabbing at his arm as Thornton punched him. Hamrlik could just as easily have been getting ready to throw one, Thornton doesn't have to wait. Either wrap em both up or let em go, one or the other. That penalty, and goal, happens because the league won't let players police themselves. Gutless.

As for the 5th goal, who cares if it was off or not. The officials had already given the game to the Habs, and it was passing deserving of a goal in any event...

I didn't see much of the game, but surprising to hear Kessel disappeared
He has been one of the Bruin's better players, in terms of moving his feet, over the last few months
Sturm, on the other hand, disappeared shortly after he signed his extension

For all the talk of the NESN announcers being homers, every time they play Montreal, Brickley & Edwards absolutely gush over over the skill of some of the Canadiens young playres
Kostitsyn is the one I couldn't remember before, they love him
They didn't even bring up or notice the offside on the 5th goal, instead waxing poetic on the under appreciated Montreal 4th line

And after reading 3 pages of this thread, all I can say is....

Oh Razz Laughing

the team plane? C'mon dude, it's just a game
I wonder if your love of soccer has something to do with your special passion
South American soccer fans have been known to follow referees to their homes and have a good ol' fashioned ref lynching

From one of the bloggers at the TSN site (not me, I've long ago been censored there Laughing ) Frankly I couldn't have said it better myself:

I am so angry right now i can hardly speak. The officiating in this game was a complete farce. 3 hits from behind by Montreal players and no calls, too many men (by montreal), on the ice no call. Then there is the Bruins, When are they going to wake up and start to back up their teammates? Savard gets high sticked and hit from behind at least 2 times and nobody comes in and knocks the ?&*%$#@! out of the montreal guy? Then somebody on Montreal submarines Lucic at the knees while he is getting hit high and doesn't have the puck and no call? Those officals would need a police escort if i was at the game!

Here's his other comment:

"All you habs fans enjoy this because they still won't make the playoffs.!! Still have to play the bruins 3 more times and revenge is sweet baby!!"

He's obviously delusional.

I was trying to ignore this thread.....however this one statement above had me in a state of severe confusion............its Roman Hamrlik! He's not throwing with anyone!

Here's my game summary.....The Bruins came out playing nasty and paraded to the box right or wrong. The Habs then proceded to out nasty the Bruins while the Bruins continued to parade to the box.

Chara was horrible....Thomas wasn't much better. The Officiating stunk. There was a glimmer of excitement washed away in the the 3rd when Timmer let in a stinker. Not even one decent fight......but with the roster of the Habs that's to be expected. Next time the Bruins need to stick to playing.

I got to tell you Razz...you are at least going to have to keep the death threats out of your posts. You of all people should know better on that.
