| Quote: |
| 1. Atlanta trades star winger Marian Hossa to Vancouver in exchange for impressive rookie defenceman Alexander Edler, centre Ryan Kesler and a second-round pick in 2008. Hossa, who had been slated for unrestricted free agency July 1, signs a US$49-million, seven-year contract extension with the Canucks to make the deal happen. The Canucks give up a lot, but they finally get that top-flight offensive threat they've been missing ever since Todd Bertuzzi's heyday in Vancouver. |
Some neat ideas. I like JP Dumont. _________________ John McCain is fit as a fiddle… Is 71 the new 30?” - Fox News' Rich Lowry

| 1-7 make no sense. The last three I could see, although Dumont is a crease running fairy. I suppose he'd fit right in with les habitant pea soup... |

If you changed the word 'fairy' to 'goal scorer', then I would agree with you. _________________ The crowd once again showed its IQ level when it shouted ``U-S-A, U-S-A,'' during the fight. Their hero, Downie, is from Newmarket, Ont. |

Jokinen for Tanguay would not happen.
Or do I just have an overinflated view of Jokinen? _________________ It's not you Sundin, it's me...please just leave...and don't look back....please please do not look back. |

That would not be a very good trade for Florida at all. _________________ ... Because the old one, is well, old.

Then again, this is the organization that traded Luongo for Bertuzzi and Allen.
I honestly don't think this trade is as crazy as people think. _________________ John McCain is fit as a fiddle… Is 71 the new 30?” - Fox News' Rich Lowry
