I love Lindy.
Sabres watch video of ‘stupid’ play

Lindy Ruff didn’t see a scared team. He didn’t see a nervous team, either.
All he saw was a stupid one. He was ready to show videos to prove it. |

| “I don’t buy any of that,” Ruff said. “I don’t buy one ounce of it. I said, ‘You can change that word to stupid instead of scared.’ We didn’t do anything scared, but we did a lot of dumb things. We’re going up for video right after this. If they can have any proof of being scared over dumb, I’ll apologize. But there was nothing scared about it.” |

It seems like Ruff and Regier have avoided any criticism during the team's rough stretch. Is that a fair assessment? Do they deserve more blame? Do they get a free pass from the Buffalo media? _________________ Beat my drum down in Mexico! To Tijuana, Tijuana here we go!

There's nothing to blame them for. Regier doesn't have much power anymore.
Lindy came right out and blamed himself, although there's only so much he can do. He can't play the games for them. Besides they didn't play all that badly during their little slide there.
The Boston game the other night was really the worst game they played in a while. _________________ I came here to chew bubblegum and kick ass... and I'm all out of bubblegum.

Are Quinn and/or Golisano giving him little to no room to do what he wants to do? _________________ Bring back the old OTP!

Well that's the impression I get.
Regier may have never been one to be aggressive on trades but we never had the issues signing players players like we have recently. Especially with all the bad feelings between management and the players. I think that's a big issue. It hasn't been this bad since the Nolan/Muckler era. The common denominator? Quinn. _________________ I came here to chew bubblegum and kick ass... and I'm all out of bubblegum.

Sorry, it's my fault. I drafted Vanek on my OTP fantasy squad. |
