So far, so good for Philly, 4-2 going into the third. Briere scores the latest after a HORRID penalty kill by Washington. He couldn't have had a more wide-open net even with Dan Cloutier in there. 3 goals in just under 4 minutes time.

So far, not so good for Ovechkin. Braydon Coburn has the task of keeping him in check the GR8 has yet to register on the scoresheet.

FUCK! 2-1 Washington, I go out for a walk to check out the cherry blossoms, come back and WA-BAM! It's 4-2 Phi. Ovechkin's looking good, but he needs to do more than just look good for the the Caps to win. Mad

C'mon Alex, let's see a little sense of urgency!

Wow, Green is BY FAR the best player on the ice right now. Almost netted the hat trick!

Haven't yet seen much from Richards, Briere and Prospal have made themselves known though.

Tons of speed and hitting, lots of flow, great game...Washington has the momentum at the moment.

WOW!!!!

Ovechkin!!!!!!

Singlehandedly strips the puck from two different Philly defenders and puts it past a sprawling Biron...unreal. Without a doubt the single most exciting player to watch in the league right now. Perfect mix of power and skill, but I don't think even Mario had wheels like that.

Final 5-4 Caps. Amazing game, glad I missed the opening of the Avs/Wylde game to see the conclusion.

Man oh man how does Philly's D do that when it's Ovechkin forechecking? GET IT OUT.

I didn't see the Green goals. Only started watching at 4-4. How were the goals? Sask, from what I've watched of Green, he looks like friggin Scott Niedermayer the way he skates and handles the puck.

Ovechkin looked like he was out there for the entire last 5 minutes. He ran over a good 3-4 guys. Fedorov was also doing some good work to kill off time.

I missed the first Green goal, but the second was a bit fortunate. Thorsen blocked a shot on the PK and stayed down, so it went to 5 on a 3 essentially and Green just blasted it from the right point.

I would rather watch Ovechkin in a playoff game than get an entirely new skirt wardrobe.
