So sleek, so comfy, so utterly lame. Ah yes...some of you are too young *gasp* to remember the Cooperalls phenomenon...alas it was so short-lived. I remember wanting to have a pair after seeing a few kids in my youth league sporting them. Well dammit, if they're going to make a sleeker, more aerodynamic jersey, then they should be using these newfangled technologies to make Cooperalls that don't have the downfalls of the old ones, y'know, like adequate protection. Just think, with the new sweater AND new Cooperalls, they could be 10.5% faster!!!
Oh and HEY, I found a BRING BACK COOPERALLS group on Facebook! 
EDIT: And before any hockey historians jump on my case, I know the Flyers sported 'em first, the Whalers second, but Francis is definitely the most famous player to have sported the infamous hockey slack.

I think my brother owned a pair back when he played roller hockey. I should wear em normally and make a general fashion statement, not just a hockey one.

Didn't they only last one season in any event? (I thought the Flyers and Whalers did it at the same time, but I was 4 years old, so...)
