He was one of the best shutdown guys in the league last year. Obviously, a bit of inflated contract year syndrome, but he was a hell of a lot better than Finger. Plus, he's been in the NHL since 2002, not having played 94 games in his career at age 28.

He was about the only real defender we had on the blueline during the regular season. And mind you I never really liked him. |
