Not much to say. A last minute lineup tweak by Carbo has Breezy sitting for the first time in 13 games and O'Byrne drawing in. The Flyers are putting Coté in for Downie, I believe, and re-uniting the Prospal-Briere-Hartnell line, which had been split to compensate for the loss of Knuble. No changes that I know of on the blueline for them.

Just win, Montreal.

I just knew Breezy was going to get scratched after his latest fuck-up. Laughing

Jeff Carter's going to get a very big payday this offseason. I'm betting he lands in Atlanta, assuming ownership can get out of their own way and cough up the cash. Minnesota should take a good long look as well. Philly won't be able to keep him unless they find a way to dump Hartnell.

Habs not looking threatening at all presently, and it's not like Biron is playing especially well, the Habs just aren't putting enough quality chances on net.

I assume Av wrote that after 1 period or something, because the Habs got tons of chances on Biron and he was definitely the difference. Price didn't stop really any scoring chances, the Flyers had an insane conversion rate on chances and won it as a result. No shame in winning because of your goalie, and that's what Philly did.

Biron was giving up rebounds early but his athleticism saved him in the end.

We hit about 8 million posts that game. Biron was good, but he was also lucky on numerous occasions (every great goalie performance requires a bit of luck).

Still not worried about this series, but it looks like Habs aren't going to make this easy for themselves.
