Let's end October with our 5th straight win!

As mentioned by E.L., no Bouillon tonight.

Didn't take long for TSN to annoy me with their analysis of the Habs.

"The loss of Souray is huge and no replacement. No big name signing." Confused

They let a 31 yo injury prone guy with 188 career points and a 64 point career year for a 35 yo injury prone guy with 500+ career points and 60+ point career year (in the "old"NHL).... and for less money. Sounds like a replacement to me. And I won't even go into the +/- stats. On the other hand - they're right. Markov is clearly an elite d-man and the Komi-Markov pairing is one of the league's best.

Should be a fun game... I would have worried that mtl would take atl a little lightly, but with Price in nets, I don't think that will happen.

Glenn Healy: "Mike Komisarek isn't the minus machine he once was."

Wattajoke.

lol - missed that one.

Price is looking pretty good out there - he's looks really comfortable handling the puck.

Did I hear that right?! 13-2 shots differential? I must be on crack, because it sure didn't seem THAT one sided...

But so much for my expectation that Mtl wouldn't take Atl for granted....

The Habs missed the net on at least 5 occasions, and Atlanta didn't have any rebounds or sustained pressure.

Other than Kovalchuk, Dupuis and Haydar, did any of the Thrashers show up?

And I counted at least 3 blocked shots. Thanks E.L. - I knew I left the pipe in T.O.

Two mistakes in the period and they make us pay on both.

I will say this: the sans-Hartley Thrashers are a lot better than we think. They can skate with the best of them.

As for Smo on the PP, its' his 1000th and he's had a good game. I have no qualms about rewarding players with PP time.

Pierre was talking about how we have really fast boards. I like it.

Reward him - but not when we're down by 1 and on a 2man late in the period. A better reward would be a win.

Love Mcguire talking about "remembering Savard and Robinson getting booed in '75". He was 14.

And yeah - the fast boards are great!
