Some things that must be dealt with this season:
1. The writers have completely screwed up Niki/Jessica, who was one of the more interesting characters in the show. The entire idea of a THIRD personality was stupid. Also, to lose D.L. in a flashback sequence was beyond lame. Either have her die or fix her, and fast.
2. Nathan. How many times can this guy come back from certain death? One of the things this show did a good job of is NOT adopting many comic-book cliches, and well, there is no more annoying comic book cliche than characters who seemingly can't stay dead. Like Niki, if you can't make him interesting, KILL HIM.
3. Sylar. Please let this be his last season. He's a kick-ass villain, but could very easily become lame if overused.
4. The old prevent-the-future storyline. Haven't we done this twice already? Starting to wear thin. No, sorry, it was thin last half-season, now it's transparent.
But hey, so long as everyone's favorite hero, HIRO, gets plenty of screen time, this show will always have a saving grace. In any event, I'm actually quite excited about this, despite my trepidation. |

While already better than season 2, a slow-moving, disappointing start nonetheless. This show's gotten too clunky, too convoluted, and too disjointed for its own good.
Nice cameo by The Greatest American Hero though. 
Not saying it sucked exactly, but now they've actually found a way to make Niki/Jessica/forchrissakeswhothefuckareyouanyway that much more ridiculous and unappealing. ANOTHER fucking personality? And now she can freeze people? WTF?
Future Peter has sent Present Peter into the body of a villain. Again...huh? Even Chris Claremont would scoff at a plot element like that.
I'm actually glad Linderman is back, as he shouldn't have been killed that early on in the first place. But again, Nathan gets misused. They better have a good explanation for this.
So now Mohinder has powers, though the writers are obviously ripping off Jeff Goldblum's "The Fly." Interesting nonetheless.
Yipes...a big mess made even bigger, they better start pruning plotlines and fast here.
Oh, and I agree, on top of everything else, Ali Larter was looking a bit rough. Yeesh.  |

I had an argument with my wife that they must have re-cast her, 'cause my goodness, as rough as the offseason was to Ali Larter, it did effing wonders for Dania Ramirez. I hated her whingy, tear-streaked and annoying countenance last season and couldn't wait to see her killed off - but wow, she is some kind of wonderful so far...
As far as Peter goes, I don't know if it's as simple as that - one of the escaped 'villains' appears to be Peter trapped in a villain's body... A chameleon villain who has taken Peter's role? Somewhat interesting plot twist, but we'll see...

My wife just pointed out to me that at some point either in the first or second season, Niki mentioned her twin dying, which explained why she had that split personality... Well, this is the twin.

The show seems to be leaning toward a far more ridiculous premise. That this is a clone or something harvested from Niki/Jessica's DNA, which to me says that the writers realized they fucked up the character beyond repair but wanted to keep Ali Larter around.
I'm just about ready to give up on this show. |

ABOUT DAMN TIME this show do something riveting.
Okay, now Peter has Sylar's "ability." Very, very cool twist. Sure, there are still problems, but the show's finally picking up the pace and not seeming so convoluted. Sorry though, wasn't buying Claire as a "bad girl," though that dude who can feed off fear is all kinds of kick-ass.
Hope they end this Parkman-in-Africa thing pretty soon, not sure why the writers decided to go with this particular plotline. |

Yeah I am still watching....and boy is it going all butterfly effect here......the only logicial solution leads Peter to off himself.......
That Mia chick has made some sort of turn around this year....I can't blame Mohinder for doing some nasty on that......but her lack of accent and straight up USA girl attitude yesterday was downright unbelievable after her recent immigrant helplessness.
Furture Peter still can't be dead yet.....he had Claire's power.
Besides being ragingly hot Claire is actually a pretty weak character.....that's why they gave Wolverine Claws. I don't buy the whole bad girl thing. Maybe is she was in Lingerie........
Parkman still sucks....for all his potential badassness they still continue to fuck this up. Besides Larter this is the character with the most worthless story twists....anymore remember the prego cheating wife? If Parkman has a part to play other than babysitting the locator then they better figure it out quick or just get rid of him already.
The Hiro line is pretty dumb as well........they already have one person screwing up time......they have offset this with a nice Ando theme...but reintroducing the lame ass can't die guy again was something I wish they hadn't done. I do like the fast girl though.
Hats off to the Sylar story line. Easily the best one so far. Giving past Peter his power was f'n weird. Without him this show is nothing.
Niki/Tracy/Ice Bitch and Nathan/Lieberman Ghost......eh whatever.....Nathan always seems to get screwed no matter what he does anyway.
Peter/Gabriel/Nathan's mom.....an older manipulative woman....no surprise there.

Agreed, she's a crappy villain. I suppose having her in a slinkier outfit would at least quell us geekboys a bit.
