Hopefully the guy can remain healthy this time & finish out the season. If so, that's going to be one hell of a 1-2 punch:
The The Blackhawks got some good news at practice Thursday as forward Martin Havlat participated in a full practice, including contract drills, for the first time since injuring his shoulder on opening night. As soon as doctors give him a clean slate, head coach Denis Savard will put him on a line with Robert Lang and Jason Williams. - Chicago Tribune

The best news is that the Hawks don't really need him all that badly. Even better news *knock on wood* is that Ruutu has stayed relatively healthy and is by all accounts gelling with the kids.
The bad news is that him and Khabibulin won't be coming off the books after this season. |

The real title of this thread should be, "Havlat close to being in a position to be reinjured." _________________
