Kesler and Boogard are having war of words

parapphrasing here:
Kesler says Boogard isnt much of a hockey player. He plays 2 minutes and doesnt do much.

Boogard commented he felt sorry for Kesler when Boulerice cross checked his face then he sees first hand what kind of player Kesler is and now he doesnt feel sorry for him caz "he's not a good guy". < *thats almost an exact quote on his description of Kesler*. Boogard also commented (Canucks) talk alot when their off the ice and when we're seperated by concrete walls but all run and hide when Im out there.

-----------------------------------------------------------
Canucks know very well not to get caught up in this garbage and if there's any thing to learn from Bertuzzi-Moore is take a page out of Colorado's strategy book and let the Wild chase you and you quietly beat them 8-2. AN often forgetable part of that fiasco game was Col shit kicked the Canucks on the scoreboard.

And an oft-forgotten part of the Moore-Bertuzzi fiasco is that Moore fought May prior to Bertuzzi deciding he "deserved" a piece of him as well.

Also, if Boogaard makes one dumb play Lemaire won't play him again that game. He's had games where he has only played one shift.

Any guesses on who Mike Brown replaces tonight? Larschied will update in a bit but before he does...

Im going to go with Isbister. I was going to say Linden but fatigue shouldnt be that bad yet.. they just had 4 games in 14 days for crying out loud. assuming Brown plays , dont even know if he's playing for sure yet

Linden is indeed sitting tonight for Brown

Not sure if Harding is in for Minny but Sanford is for Van though.

I've read that Vancouver got into MSP at like 4 a.m., too, so they're going to be somewhat worn down. We'll need adrenaline and motivation to trump physical shape here, but I wouldn't expect the Canucks to win tonight.

Especially because you have to believe the Wild are way more hepped up for this game... for all the wrong reasons, mind you, and history shows that that often makes teams play worse.

My understanding is that the violence was reciprocal last game -- I don't think anyone is disputing that Öhlund's slash was retaliatory, which means, by definition, that each side hurt the other. Yet a lot of the Wild fans seem to be turning this into some sort clash between the forces of innocent righteousness vs. forces of bloodstained evil.

In that respect, this is apparently on the front page of a Minnesota newspaper:

By the way, a guy on HFBoards is saying that this game can be watched online by clicking this link, which apparently bypasses ESPN 360's IP check -- it's intended for European users. I vouch for nothing.

Freak ,I got 50 on sportsaction which you know can suck finding a second game( i got Otw... fuck sakes) I caved and I put 50 through this "guy" , and if there's any cops or IRS reading this , Im just giving this random man $50 in cash for free or maybe not , he might be gving me $50 in cash for free , nothing to do with the outcome of tonight's hockey game .. merry christmas!! nothing bad going on here. Im playing with chump change house money I won over the weekend so no biggie , Im not dipping into the " ditch gf and run off to vegas " funds or anything. I normally dont go above $10-20 but I really like this game alot ( but I've said that many times and lost many times hence the good news for van fans)

Aside from Koivu and Ohlund both being out tonight , the big fued is between Gaborik and Kesler. Kesler is becoming quite the hated guy in the NHL.

The good thing about Keslers play is that he's doing it with a hard nosed work ethic. And it's nice to see that he's dropped the gloves a few times as well. He's not a cheap ass like Cooke. Fuck I wish Cooke could back his cheap play up. I think he's got his gloves tied to his shoulder pads. I've seen goalies fight more than Cooke. I cant stand Cooke!

It suprises me Kesler is so hated right now , caz he does play relatively honest game so makes me wonder if this guy has a nasty potty mouth.

Listening to Coach V on Team 1040 and when asked about getting an enforcer: "we don't need an enforcer to deal with a guy who play's 3min 15sec a game and watches Pinky and the Brain". Laughing

2-2 after one,Naslund extending his goal scoring streak to 4 games and Kesler with a beautiful end to end wraparound Very Happy

Also,Mike Brown CAN fight,I can't remember who it was but the kid had the jackhammer going and than scored a nice takedown as well,YEAH BABY!!!

Sanford looks pretty shaky though,So it's not all coming up roses.
