Yeah we will see about GSP. But I really wanted to see Serra knock the ignoramus Hughes the f out.
I know Chuck is long in the tooth but I will never ever go against him or Randy. |

I can't fucking believe Chuck made Silva look so bad. Not that he embarassed Silva. Silva would never follow up after he get a good punch in on Chuck.
And I can't believe GSP made Hughes look so bad either! I mean I'd love to see Hughes get KTFO but almost seeing that total domination on the ground which is his strong suit was much more gratifying!

Wow I figured GSP would win, especially after seeing him out-wrestle Kosscheck, but I never would have expected such a pure ass-kicking. That was nice. Awesome display of jj at the end with the simultaneous trianlge and kimura to armbar. Those body slams were funny as hell yet also pretty devastating looking. I wonder how much those hurt.
Class act all the way taking off the belt, that 'interim' crap is ridiculous. Massive disrespect to Serra by the UFC unless they have some info that Serra's injury is possibly career ending.
I figure GSP will beat Serra, then Serra and Hughes will fight their grudge match, after which Hughes will retire.
Liddell / Silva was great. Chuck never would have been standing if he had taken some of those shots Silva did. He is TOUGH. Also love the way that Chuck couldn't really step in and finish him because Silva kept winging hooks even as he was getting pummelled. Favorite part of the fight was at the beginning when he acted hurt and baited Chuck in, for the rest of the fight you could see that Chuck was reluctant to pounce too quickly. |
