I dunno, perhaps it wasn't that obvious, and Edmonton's downtown core is a bit U.S.-style in that it's only really a business district, but still, central is generally good.

From what I can gather, this is a no brainer at City Council, but Edmontonians in general need the reminder.

From how lovingly Mr. Perfect and DH speak of the city of Edmonton, sounds like "no-brainer" would be an apt description of the general populace there. Laughing

I go there a couple of times a year on business - not my favourite city. An arena downtown would be good for the area for sure.

I always picture Edmonton as being the neutral planet from Futurama. Extremely gray and drab.

Yay for increasing my condo value?

That and my company's new building is going up next door to the proposed arena site. Who knows....maybe with the new job some tickets might actually trickle my way on occasion...
