I am concerned with his play. I expected a little more from such a high pick but he doesn't seem comfortable on the back end. Timmer has saved his bacon a few times after he has been juked out of his skates.....he is often seen hitting Timmer's pads in a Thank You manner after he is bailed out.

I've been waiting for him to make the team as a regular but with his 8 minute average I am beginning to wonder if Hnidy is a better alternative.

Harmy you have to be patient. Lash is going to be a stud, he's already running the first PP. Young, offensive D men take time to learn how to play in their own end in the NHL. If he's learning at a fast enough rate for Julien, he's doing fine.

The comparable is Luc Bourdon, taken before Lashoff in the same draft class. At the time everyone was gaga for Bourdon, and Lashoff had missed most of the year with a concussion.

The Bruins had Lash as their top D man and rightfully so - Bourdon seems stuck in the minors, and Lashoff is slowly but surely sticking in the NHL...
