Leafs wrap-up home stand and look to start a west coast trip...
Razor-halfway decent showing but once again even his best just not good enough to get a W.
Mats-2 goals and great PK. Truly never gave up the whole game.
White-hands down worst game I have ever seen him play. Got beat constantly (especially on the Carter goal) and then the costly penalty at the end leading to the L. Starting to think I may have over-valued him from the start. Even Gill doesn't get beat that much anymore.
Blake-again 10 shots on goal and no goals. How is it possible to have as many SOG as he does and only have only 8 goals.
Carlo-once again the knee doen't hold up and it doesn't look good. Should have learned our lesson the first time and let him walk. Proving to be a waste of time and cap space.
Maurice-Doesnt dress Belak when facing the Flyers? Come on, fire his ass already. Put Dougie behind the bench.
As far as the Flyers go...
Richards-truly a playmaking talent, always seems to impress.
Carter-I can't believe they were talking about trading this kid-we'd take him but there isn't any Leaf worth his value besides Sundin and that will not happen.
Downey-gutless, unclassy, douchebag, punk-ass, jerk-off, wad, I could go on (Razz feel free to add expletives). Suckerpunches Blake after the officials tie him and Blake up. Blake! This guy is a freakin loser and how he still has a job in thr NHL is beyond me. They showed a bunch of cheap ass moves by him after the game. Worthless.
Hatcher-he is a dumbass. Tries to get a huge headhunting hit on a Leaf and takes out Lupul in the process. Lupul cracks his cranium and appeared to have a concussion at the very least. What a moron. |

To think Downie took a shift w/o so much as being tossed around a bit after the "Blake incident" says much about the Toronto Maple Leafs.
I cannot honestly say I like this team. I don't like there coach. I don't like there GM. And I don't like any of the players that wear the Toronto Maple Leafs sweater, save Blake, Belak, Tucker, Sundin & Kaberle.

Downie's a young kid, perhaps he can be reigned in. Mind you, I do think he should have been tossed for the year for what he did, just like Jones should have. Hatcher is a different story, he knows better.
Looks good on that idiotic organization to have Lupul tits up thanks to his own teammate... |

Have they approached you yet about joining their legal team? They need another turkey to petition the supreme court with another proposal to install every car with a giant laser beam to kill any driver who's ever purchased a beer.

That's about the one organization I couldn't take money to work for. Well, NAMBLA of course... but yeah... MADD just offends me on so many levels. Murderers, rapists, no problem, I have done it and I will do it. MADD... no way.
Besides, MADD has never been one to resort to expert help. Family and friends of victims of drunk drivers know what should be done far better than any lawyer or judge, dontcha know... |
